I quite like the main page but the left column isn't doing it for me. I'm not sure what your logo is all about, it looks like Super Mario cactus's (cacti?) sitting on each other, and is looking a bit rough around the edges. I would place the navigation along the top to let the rest of the page speak for itself.

For me, it's just a bit messy and the strong background hurts my eyes.

 

Honestly? Unless you're going with flat colours and you can find the right shade that doesn't burn peoples retinas, I'd ditch the background colour idea.

 

The design as a whole looks like a load of different styles and elements chucked in together that individually may be good but just don't work together. You've got icons, but they don't fit with the typography. You've got a HTML5 icon with black text....on a purple-y background.

 

There's just so many different colours and styles and none of them really work well together for me.

 

I would also re-consider your typography, I'm not a fan of that thick bold font, it just doesn't look very professional and doesn't convey the right feelings for me.

Thanks for the honesty both. I will work on more changes and repost. I thing I might rethink the whole idea I was going for actually.
