Pretty Hotizontal Scrolling

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm looking for a technique that will allow me to create a horizontal scrolling contact form. I'll explain what I've got so far, and I'm hoping someone can either tell me how to finish the task off, or recommend a better solution.

I have an iframe on an 'index.html' page, and that iframe is displaying 'formcontent.html'. The iframe is fixed to a width of 800px wide x 600px high. In 'formcontent.html', I have three divs, all floated so that they appear in a horizontal row. Each of these divs matches the width and height of the iFrame. In each div, are forward and back anchor links to switch back and forth between each div.

The effect I'm trying to create is something along the lines of this page - http://bigboysink.com.au/ - but horizontal. The first "frame" will contain a couple of form fields that need to be filled in, and when the user clicks next they will visibly see the first frame slide left, and the second frame slide into it's place. I've managed to achieve this effect using the old school anchor links, but you don't get the nice animation that you get in the above website.

Hope my description isn't too whacky. If anyone has any advice, I'd love to hear it.

Thanks so much.

Cheers,

Chris
