tiny CSS alignment issue

Featured Replies

me again :)

this one should be a piece of cake, but I cant seem to do it. usually I can handle most CSS issues, but because I am using some jQuery in this I cant seem to align some images correctly.

here is hte online example:

I would really like to align the < Red Wines > all on one line.

I have tried different float setups as well as nested Divs, but to no avail.

Any ideas guys n gals?

Many thanks.

This should point you in the right direction, make the "a" tags with the arrows and teh h7 tag block and floated:-

<div class="navpoint">
                   <a style="display: block; float:
left; margin-top: 10px;" id="prev1" class="prev"
href="#"><img src="images/arrowL.png" width="40"
height="10" /></a>
<!--<div class="clearfix"></div>-->
                  <h7 style="display: block; float:
left;">Red Wine</h7>
<!--<div class="clearfix"></div>-->
                   <div style="display: block; float:
left; margin-top: 10px;" id="pager1" class="pager">
</div>
                   <a style="display: block; float:
left; margin-top: 10px;" id="next1" class="next"
href="#"><img src="images/arrowR.png" width="40"
height="10" /></a>
<!--<div class="clearfix"></div>-->
               </div>
            </div>
       </div><!-- close 'list_carosel'-->
       <div class="clearfix"></div>

I've deleted all your clearfix divs, I don't know why they are there, but you might need them. I only downloaded your main page and the style.css and the arrows, so I didn't do a full test with everything. You might have to delete the pager1 div too, but I don;t know what that does. Ideally, you would have just the "a" tag, h7 and another "a" tag all float: left; display: block;

thanks very much. that worked great. I actually tried playing around with that property, and i had a feeling it was something to do with all of that, but I just didnt understand exactly what I was supposed to be doing.

Cheers for the great help.
