SQL max prints out twice

Featured Replies

The SQL Max prints out twice for the same result.

This is the output:

18-02-201218-02-2012

This is the output that I want:

18-02-2012

I try it with array_walk to remove the array objects to get it nicely listed but the result is that double print.

This is mine current script.

<html>
<head></head>
<body>

<?php
include("config.php");

$query=mysql_query("SELECT MAX(Newsdate)FROM nieuws");
if (!$query)
{
echo "No query has been found";
}

function removeobj($value)
{
echo $value;
}
$arry=mysql_fetch_array($query);
array_walk($arry,"removeobj");

?>
</body>
</html>
