2 Columns On My Webpage

Featured Replies

If I have created a Navigation bar, how on earth am I able to put content on line with the Nav Bar without it putting it below the Nav Bar, obviously I am looking to make a sort of 2nd column.

Please help!

Ok, you're going to to need to do the same as you did in the previous thread about making your navigation items horizontal — that is, making the 2 columns display: inline; (which will cause issues if the columns are different heights), or giving each column a float: left; and wrapping them both inside in a containing element with a width (can be 100%) and overflow: hidden;.

Cheers mate.

I sort of found that in another thread were there is a step by step site build bit that he created 2 seperate div's called "content_l" and "content_r"....

As you say you can have the problem with the display:inline if the columns are different sizes can't you.

Cheers
