If I have a navigation bar on my homepage which I will then put across all pages, how do I make my navigation list display horizntally as opposed to vertically.

 

So it would appear:

 

HOME - PORTFOLIO - CONTACT US

 

As an example.

You can either set the list items to display: inline;, or set a fixed (small) width and float them to the left.
