I am an amateur web designer. I learned HTML in a college course that I was privileged to take my junior year of high school (11 years ago now) and in the last two years have resumed it as a hobby and continued to teach myself. Well adapted to simple HTML, I'm now learning the in's and out's of CSS, and how to implement it to make pages load faster, look better, and provide a good experience for the user and client. Web design is still somewhat of a hobby of mine, but I'm starting to get decent, and I aspire to start a small web design business before the end of 2011, integrating my more thorough knowledge of optimization and marketing.

Introductions aside...

As a basic project to help my friend and expand my knowledge I designed a site this morning, and encountered an odd issue once I had the layout I desired. If you have a few minutes and are inclined to help me, please take a look at the related thread I started:

http://www.webdesignerforum.co.uk/topic/53283-odd-firefox-issue-with-css-layout/

Otherwise, please feel free to reply to this thread and say hi to me. :-) Despite the weird title and description, I'm quite friendly! haha
