Twitter Widget

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

Twitter used to have a really great HTML/JavaScript widget that you could embed in your site. It would display your Twitter feed in plain text, and could be styled accordingly with CSS. For reasons known only to them, they seem to have got rid of it. :-( Which means I need to find a new way to add Twitter to my site. Does anyone know of a method (or a Wordpress plugin) that provides a Twitter feed as unstyled HTML, which can be then adjusted to match the rest of my site?

Cheers,

Chris

Found it! Some lovely person had stashed the code on their website, and it still works. It's just not accessible from Twitter.com. For those who are interested:

<div id="twitter_div">
<ul id="twitter_update_list">
<a href="http://twitter.com/YOURTWITTERUSERNAME" id="twitter-link" style="display:block;text-align:right;">Follow Us On Twitter</a>
</div>

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://twitter.com/javascripts/blogger.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/YOURTWITTERUSERNAME.json?callback=twitterCallback2&count=1"></script>
