Best Software

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I am quite new to the design world and am wondering on what everyone's opinion is regarding software to use and the process used.

For example, the past two sites I have designed have been using Photoshop & Dreamweaver. Once the design is complete in Photoshop I then use the Slice Tool and "Save for Web..." option.

I have been doing some research and it appears that people also use CSS with HTML to get the site to appear exactly how they want to depending on individual resolution etc, is this the best option to go with? and if so, I can't seem to get my head round how to link the two together...any help would be appreciated.

Hopefully i have explained myself properly and haven't jabbered on to long. I look forward to your replies.

Don't ever use software to code your website. They never produce decent results, and generally suck. Learn HTML, learn CSS and hand code everything. Trust me, it's better that way.
