Google places only gives postcard option to verify

Featured Replies

Hi, I regularly add sites to Google places and at the end of the process it gives you an option to send a verification code by text, telephone or postcard.

I've just set up another one and this time I only get the option for postcard?????

Has anyone else experienced this or know if there's a way that I can receive the code via txt?

Thanks

Jamie

Hi Jamie,

I use google maps a lot and the verification method depends on how many requests google have had over a certain time period, I think. I know you can receive a phone call or a text message but this option isn't always available, you can however submit the postcard and then try get google to call your customer later on as this has worked for me previously!

Try it out and let me know how you get on.
