How to put your domain name onto separate hosting?

Featured Replies

Hey,

Firstly I want to say I have a domain iAchievements.co.uk up for sale. If anyone is interested or knows how much it is worth let me know.

Secondly I have this domain with goDaddy. I just can't figure out how to upload this domain to my hosting which is done through a seperate company, JustHost.

If anyone could fill me in I would be so happy :)

You dont have to upload the domain to the other hosting company. What you will need from JustHost is the Nameservers.

Once you have these you can change them on your domain name and your domain will be pointing at your JustHost hosting

Hope this helps :)

Thanks mate. Just confused about how I will then add files to the domain, will it make a directory?

I changed the NameServers to my own hosting now. Still don't know how to change the files hehe :$
