I'd like this site to be much more easier to use and have tables and databases connected to them so they update, if anyone can help or point me to a nice newbie friendly tutorial that would be shweeeeeet,

Hello, steer away from tables. They are a pain in the ass IMO. Use Divs and CSS to layout your site, then you can make more features using a variety of different languages, such as PHP, Javascript, jQuery and more.
