Hello,

I've created a website dedicated to gaming, mostly an MMO Portal.

The jet black look could work but I think you need to work on the CSS fonts and spacing some more to make it have a jam-packed gaming website feel to it.

 

Also, the drop downs are cool looking but remember some gamers want their menus to pop up fast (1ms), because gamers think fast and move fast...

 

For navigation I would stick with the proven titling like - by System - by Game Title - Reviews - Previews...it's just how people identify it as a strong gaming website.
