Moderated social media feed

I am looking to display a social media feed on a new website I'm creating, it will pull in discussion about a topic (word) from Twitter and Facebook. But it needs to be moderated, so I will have to confirm feed items before they go live on the site.

I'm thinking I could do it like this:

• Grab the Twitter RSS feed for the search results page of the topic.
  
• Grab the Facebook RSS feed for the search results page of the topic.
  
• Combine the RSS feeds together.
  
• Moderate the RSS feed by accepting/denying each update
  
• Display the moderated/combined RSS feed on the site in the form of a scroller.
  

Could anybody point me in the right direction for this? I think I know how to combine an RSS feed and how to display it, but what services will allow me to accept/deny the updates?

I would really appreciate your help on this!
