August 10, 201016 yr Hi Jones, A nice looking website! I can't imagine you're not converting because of any big design issues, and I'm guessing it can be down to a couple of small things: 1. Your call to action methods are limited and out of the way This is a big deal - people want to use the least amount of energy to get in touch with you. So it won't hurt putting an email link, or even a link to your contact page nice and big on the homepage. You'll be surprised at how much of a difference it makes just adding a button saying "talk to us" in a visible location on your homepage. Get into your customers shoes on this one, if they cant find an effortless method of contact within a few seconds, then the back button will mean a lot less effort on their part! 2. Who are you targeting? This isn't as likely but is as important as the last point. If you're targeting the wrong group of users then although they might pay a visit to your website, they might not stick around and pursue their visit any further. If you use website analytics, pay close attention to the 'Bounce Rate' and the amount of time people spend on your website. If the amount of time they spend there is low, the odds are you could be targeting the wrong group of customers. It's obvious a lot of work has gone into the website from a visitors point of view, and it certainly looks professional! Good luck with getting conversions. And bear in mind if the website is relatively new, anomalies do happen and can work themselves out . Cheers Jason
August 10, 201016 yr Like Jason says, your design is fine and it looks rather nice infact so it cannot be because of design issues really. Have you checked your whole order process? Perhaps you could find out at which point to they leave?
