July 5, 201016 yr Hello Everyone, I was browse'n around and stumbled across this plethora of knowledge. I am a novice / wannabe designer - that someday want's to move into development. After working in construction for 8 yrs- it was time for a career change. I moved out to Cali ( 2 yrs ago) and started working as a cable guy -(t.v.,data, phone, etc) . After almost a year and a half working as a cable guy and watching YouTube tutorials religiously in my off time , I had a small portfolio and began applying to Internet hosting & website design companies and was lucky enough to get hired with a small website design co. recently. I love design and aspire to someday be a PHP wiz. Itz great to find forums like this with similar like minded individuals... L8r p.s. (thank you, to all those that believe in the "roots" of open source and share answers to all the questions people have)
