Hey ladies, I thought I'd introduce myself as I've been using this forum a lot recently to improve my skills (mainly just viewing other people's posts). Good work with these forums, from a new user's point of view, the information here is really useful. :)

(on another note, if anyone's feeling like giving me any feedback on my most recent attempt at designing, click here)

Hello there,

First of all I will have to confess to you that I am not a 'lady' and have therefore not looked at your post that you wanted 'ladies' to look at.

I was wondering if you were really looking for a dating site.

If not, and you are looking for a web design site, you have come to the right place and will find it very helpful. However, I'm really confused why you would address people as 'ladies' if you were serious about your intentions.

I'm serious about improving my skills; I'm not sure where the correlation between having a sense of humour and enhancing your skills lies. If I had addressed this post with "Hey guys" would you react in the same way? Because as you hopefully know, not only ladies using dating websites. It takes two to tango. ;)

There's a time and a place to be serious, and when I'm working / learning I am serious, I try to kick back a little when introducing myself to a community. Point taken though, no hard feelings.
