I've already made a couple of threads and started posting but I thought i'd also say hello properly. I'm what I'd still consider an amateur web developer from oop North. I don't do it is a career and have no qualifications or any formal training whatsoever, I've just learnt/picked up everything myself over the last few years. Up until last year I'd only done table layouts and struggled to start designs from scratch but now I'm in a position where I can design a site and then handcode it in valid (X)HTML and CSS. Still learning as ever, and I'm still somewhat down on the design side of things.

 

Hopefully I'll be able to find some useful advice and tips here and also help some other people out.
