Outlook Safe Sender Puzzle

Featured Replies

Any ideas why Outlook puts the emails submitted off a website contact form into the junk folder?

One of my customers has a website and on there a contact form. When the form is submitted it is sent to blah@btinternet.com

However it always lands in the junk folder. Now, when you try to add the email to the safe senders list it always says the email address is invalid.

It would be wouldn't it? Because it's not sent from an email address, it's sent from a website. Even when I add the domain name of the website (where the form is) to the safe senders/recipients list it still goes to the junk folder.

Am I being thick here? (Which is a possibility!!) :D

DOH!! Had the from email address as 'Company Name' instead of info@company name!!

:D

You should take a look at including SPF records in your Zone file for your domain to ensure your emails reach a larger percentage of the addresses you send to

If your webserver is running on a different IP to your mailserver you'll need to look at SPF records.
