Wordpress CSS Sprite Menu

Hi,

 

I am developing a website for a friend and am stuck on the menu.

I have a css sprite image menu, which is NOT run using wp_listpages. I have hardcoded the links in.

 

I have got the normal and hover states to work fine, but would like to have 'active' state also.

 

If someone could please take a quick look and suggest what CSS rules I need cuz I have tried a few different things and havn't got a result yet :p
