April 10, 201016 yr Hello, Recently i've been asked to manage a clients google merchant / base products which requires an xml feed. I submitted the feed fine and the products are all shown but something really odd is going on. A typical product title is 'Blue 3 Tone Blends Coloured Contact Lenses (1 Month Lenses)' but for some reason when searching google products for 'contact lenses' it returns no results for my clients products. I find this very strange since the words contact lenses are in every item title, most of the descriptions too ... If i search for the product title exactly it does show results, ie search for Blue 3 Tone Blends Coloured Contact Lenses (1 Month Lenses). Google products search for 'contact lenses' - http://www.google.co.uk/products?q=contact+lenses&aq=f (see left hand side 'any shop', look for 'beautifeye', not there right ? Google products search for 'beautifeye' - http://www.google.co.uk/products?q=beautifeye&aq=f Amazing, all the products are there ! Whats going on here, why doesnt it show any results for 'contact lenses', any ideas / help ? Thanks

Invalid Identifiers 0 items Your item list does not contain invalid product identifiers. Long Titles 0 items Your item list does not contain long titles. Short Descriptions 0 items Your item list does not contain short descriptions. Missing Product Type Values 0 items Your item list is not missing product type values. Impressions so far arent great, around 3 a day on each product but its certainly not helping that 'contact lenses' isnt showing anything. The target website is doing quite well with sales everyday, meta tags (keywords, etc) are all set up, again these contain contact lenses. Like you say maybe its just a case of waiting since the feed was only uploaded 2 days but i do find it strange that results are showing for other search terms. Edit: Forgot to add ...
