Custom Form Script/Software

Featured Replies

Hi

Does anyone know of any decent software or scripts for producing customizable web forms, preferably with the ability to add anti-spam?

I'm trying to find an easier way of putting together forms for my sites. I've coded a number myself but it's extremely time-consuming and my knowledge of PHP is not good enough to fix any bugs.

I know there are a number of online services that offer form wizards that seem quick and easy but I don't want to pay a monthly subscription or host elements of the form code with a third-party. If their site goes down, every form you have on every site you've put it will go down....not good!

I've done a Google search and the only actual software available I've found is Coffee Cup, which uses a swf file to create the form and is therefore no good to me.

You could use a form plug-in for a CMS such as ckforms which I think has plugins for wordpress and joomla. You can build your own forms and it does all the legwork for you. Bit of a bloated solution if forms are all you need, but it would work.

Thanks for the tip...I think I need a slightly more straight-forward solution.

I'v spent hours scouring Google and not found anything that seems suitable :search:
