Football Team Website

Featured Replies

Hi All

Ive been asked to make a football team website (Sunday Football League) and cant decide which routo to go down..

They guy that runs the club doesnt understand all this "web design stuff" (his words) so I want something that will be as easy to manage as wordpress, however the problem with wordpress it it has limits.

Do you reckon Joomla or a similar system will offer a more flexible platform to put on fixtures and results, gallery, match reports and news updates etc...?

Or am i going to have to build a system from scratch with database access and put all the stuff on there for him...?

Hi Martin,

First try to understand the exact requirement of your client. What exactly he is trying to achieve from this proposed website and how much he can back this financially. Then decide whether you will provide him a customized solution or use something else.
