Has anyone used Perforce as a SCM / versioning system? Is it good/bad/indifferent?

perforce isn't bad - alienbrain is also pretty good. wouldn't nrmally think about using it in web dev unless:

 

your codebase is very large,

you need to store lots of binaries/psds

you are working with large teams.

 

Used to use both in video game industry. Use SVN now with TortoiseSVN, seems to do the trick
