J Query not loading correctly

Featured Replies

The slides should be showing full sized photographs but on IE 8 and Firefox 3.5 it displays a thin slice of the photograph!

Very strange.

I am using Dreamweaver to code, and when I preview using DW it seems to load the photos fine.

Could it be the fact that I have the website in a sub-directory to my own, and it is confusing the browser with all of the javascript files?

Anybody?

Thanks

Actually, I still seem to be having problems with Javascript and getting plugins to work correctly on the page...

On this page, I have 3 different j query plugins, and after attempting a number of methods I am still unable to get my javascript kwicks menu to work without the other plugins messing up!

Can anybody help?

Ok thank you for pointing that out, I actually realised after posting this but I am still having a small issue with the slideshow loading. Only part of the slideshow appears when I visit the page in Firefox but then after several refreshes, it appears ok.

Just wondered if the same is happening for anyone?

I'm obviously doing something very wrong here, because if you look at this website that I am also developing, you will see that things are all over the place!

Fair enough I haven't completed a lot of layout issues so it won't look perfect yet, but I am referring to things such as the slideshow displaying the image that is used on the intro page. Its almost like the whole page is confused :(

Just thought I'd mention that I still haven't managed to solve the problem in my last post. Still appearing as a thin rectangle when opening in the browser. :(
