CSS and wordpress plugins

Featured Replies

Hopefully someone here knows about wordpress.

I have installed a plugin that creates dropdown menus in wordpress.

It works beautifully in firefox, but in IE6/7 it puts too much space between

the page links and pushes the nav bar into a 2nd row. Messes up the entire layout.

my site is here

the stylesheet is here

the nav bar is coded with the css 'nav' 'nav2' and most likely ul.nav2 (i dont know css well)

the plugin files are here.

Please help me... This blog is set launch soon!

Thanks!

Trisha

Did you make your own wordpress blog? Or did you use someone elses?

Im assuming its someone elses, you have to use a ie hack and play around with it a bit until you get what you want.

If you want to hide stuff from ie and show it in firefox, and therefore use something different in ie without affecting firefox use a hack like this.

The stuff you want ie to see, make sure it goes before the hack (the one firefox can see) so that it is overidden by the second code.

#nav {

}

Only shows up in firefox and hides from ie.

html>body #nav {

}
