i have just attempted to change my phpbb skin and have completely wiped the forum offline,i have a error appear saying

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not open new phbb skin template config file

DEBUG MODE

Line : 503

File : functions.php

i cannot change it back to the original skin because i cannot access the access panel,i have just tried looking for the file via ftp but with no success,my host do not want to know because php is not backed up.i now feel naked  without my forum can anyone help.

ok, what you need to do is get into the site via FTP.

then, copy a "working" template's files into the folder for the broken template. Your site will now work.
