December 30, 200916 yr Hello all - I'm in a bit of a pickle. I've been designing a website for a friend of mine, and I've stumbled onto a problem I can't seem to solve. Here's the scenario: This website is running Drupal 6.15, and as part of it, we needed to plot some events on a map (plot some nodes, for those who are familiar with Drupal terminology), and to do this, I added in the "GMaps" and "Gmaps Locations" modules for Drupal, and got these all working relatively fine. The issue comes along when you go to view information on the markers on the map (which are placed using Google Maps and a Google Maps API key) - when you click them, the bubble pops up, and it contains the information from that event (the node), but it doesn't properly fit within the bubble. The website is using the Marinelli theme for drupal, and if I use other themes, it seems to work with some of them, which suggests to me it's probably CSS related, but it may also be incorrect calculations in the GMaps module somewhere. I'm flying blind, as I don't know PHP/JS/CSS very well, because I'm not a web designer by trade, and the support forums for both Drupal and the GMaps module aren't helpful at all (no responses), so I'm wondering if anyone has a) An answer for me An idea of where to find what I'm looking for c) Techniques they often use to sort out such problems d) Someone/somewhere that can help Thanks everyone.
January 4, 201016 yr Hi there, Ive been working with an excellent Drupal developer recently who specialises in HTML, CSS and Drupal and Im sure would be able to get this resolved for you. If you can maybe drop me a PM I can organise taking a look at the site for you which is causing the problem. If we think it can be solved easily from looking at the site, I'll let you know and roughly how much it might cost. Let me know if that sounds reasonable. Thanks, Andy
