December 19, 200916 yr Hi guys I have bought a VPS for the business as a test to see about moving away from reseller hosting and I have a question regarding Plesk. Basically as a web developer I use a piece of software called 4D Site Designer which uses perl to deliver all sorts of CMS and site logic. The software requires certain attributes on the hosting area namely the following: "Ask your hosting company to allow all files stored in /cgi-bin/SITENAME/SISite/data folder and its sub-folders to be delivered as files (and not executed). No script files are stored in this folder. " This is only needed to speed up the site and they work fine without the changes as described. I have looked in Plesk at a way of doing this and I can't see anything obvious. I know it is more than just CHMODing the particular folder. I have looked at .HTACCESS files but can't find anything obvious that way (as I say I am new to this side of things. Please help! You are my last best hope. Thanks Lloyd
