December 14, 200916 yr Hey people just started designing a logo for a clients website. The website is going to be a kind of facebook for upcoming djs to share there mp3 tracks gig listings etc. We both agreed that we felt the logo should contain an equaliser graphic, attached is what I have got so far. Anyone got any ideas for improvements? Please feel free to critique my design! Thank You
December 14, 200916 yr I dont like the outer glow on the rectangles. Equalizers usually are pretty sharp. Also i think it would look better if you had more rectangles for the whole thing to look like a box and then lower the opacity of the rectangles you added. Just my opinion good luck
December 14, 200916 yr I can't really see anything wrong with it except the text could be a different shade to stand out more, it's pretty dark considering there's a dark background I agree, make the logo smaller, then look at it, like thumbnail side, this will help with deciding..
December 16, 200916 yr Logo's nowerdays are often simple but say enough. i would get rid of the glow around the boxes and change your font to "Boris Black Bloxx" which is a nice chunky font to work with on something like this. make the name white, without a glow aswell. should look good
December 16, 200916 yr Author Hey people thank you all for the great advice on replies! Taken on board some of the advice and this is what I have come up with, let me know what you think, I have attached a smaller version too Thank you
December 16, 200916 yr the boxes don't seem evenly spaced, and they look a bit blurry. I prefered it where there were less boxes. And you've spelt it wrong
December 16, 200916 yr Author lmao haha yes thats me rushing as usual, uploaded the correct spelling now, i agree with you about it looking better with there being fewer bars, I will look into that
