Got a client lined up after Xmas who owns a hair & beauty salon so just started working on the design of the website early

 

Anyone got any feedback, hints or improvements on the attached .png file? Obviously I am open to all constructive critiscism.

lol sorry the rectangles are curved and the flower patters are wavy, sorry my photoshop skills are abit naff you see so im quite liited when it comes to designing

This just doesn't seem to scream out 'HAIR SALON' too me to be honest, I don't think the colours are working very well together, the font just doesn't work too. I see your using what like's like an image of the'e salon there, why not work around that rather than try cutting it in like you have? try making it center of attention and blend.
