BalsaPortfolio - A working progress

Okay, so Ignoring the code, and just looking at the design what do you think, and what can be improved.

For now, only view in Firefox, or Google Chrome, as I havent supported Safari, Opera, or Internet Explorer fully yet =)

Matt~

good general design, but the dark red doesn't make for an easy read on a dark gray background, even if it matches the logo colors. The logo is also a bit hard to read, since it's on the same dark background. Either try changing the background color, or put some kind of background behind the logo, and embed that in your general logo design.

I was also put off a bit by the footer font. First of all, it didn't look too good in all caps. Second of all, you should give your footer some content, but what that might be, is for you to decide.

All together, though, the site looked good.

Agreed, I don't know if a brighter red might work better, I'll give that a go, or maybe a lighter dropshadow. Maybe possibly even a spotlight gradient behing them.

As for the footer, was trying to go for something simplistic, but we shall see.

Anyone got anymore thoughts?

I like it apart from the red, I like your menu rollovers very nice! One thing though, maybe seperate the colums of text a little they look too close.

Hmm, yeah, was using 960.gs but I agree there could be more white space between. Do you think I should continue trying to use the red, or try for new colours? Any ideas?
