I want to add a calendar to my website.

Ideally it would be something similar to the one on this page-

I would want readers to be able to click on a date and a list of events to pop up for that date. There would be several events for each date so something as simplistic as Google Calendar would not be sufficient.

Also, in an ideal world you would be able to search events by event type.

I tried to install 'easyphpcalendar' but as my site is hosted on a Windows server and not a Linux one it did not support ionCube loader and so it was not suitable.

I do have a mySQL database however as I am already running a PHPbb3 forum on the site.

 

I am a bit of a newbie to all this so if I am not using the right technical terms above then please excuse me, I'm just fumbling along at the moment and learning as I'm going.

 

For reference, the way may site currently displays the events is as a list as shown here, which gives you an idea of the sort of events I need to add to the calendar -

Here are a list of websites that may be able to help you. They feature customisable calendars that are aimed at holiday home owners however I dont see why you couldn't use them for something else...

Unfortunately these calendars are too simplistic for what I need as they do not let me add events for each day.

does anyone else have any suggestions?
