Help needed with Google apps mail.

Featured Replies

Hi. I've recently signed up for google mail to manage my domains mail and have set it up fine except for one thing. This is the first time I've used google apps so I'm still learning how it works. Basicly I have a .co.uk domain that has it's .com version of the domain aliased to .co.uk. And as far as I can tell I can set up domain aliasing with google mail too. Which I thought I set up. If I go to mail.mydomain.co.uk it works fine and I can sign in, however if I go to mail.mydomain.com I get a Google 404 error saying "Not Found

The requested URL / was not found on this server. ". I'm guessing I've got the CNAMEs set up right because it is redirecting to Google, Google just isn't pointing it to my sign in.

Is there something I'm missing or am I just confusing this service and what I'm actually hoping to do, ie, any mail sent to .com is rerouted to .co.uk, isn't going to work?

Any help greatly appreciated, really bugging me now and I can't find anything via Google.

Thanks,

~evu.
