Now, this is my first site as some may already now, and ive fixed all but one validation errors on the home page.

 

On the top i have jquery slideshow and in order for that to function, i must have the tag 'rel' in the image. If i remove this tag the validation error goes, however the slideshow wont function...

Don't worry about it. That's just the way the script works.

move the

 

rel="gallery"

 

from the img element to the a href element. That will fix the validation issue.

bocaj - It's fixes the validation issue however as a affect, its stop the jquery slideshow from functioning.

i checked the shadowbox website and they said that's how to do it

 

Try making the href="#" point to the image source

I have now sorted it out, by deleting the PHP script linking to the 'caption' which contains the 'rel' tag..
