Hi guys,

 

A client of mine needs search option for the site but doesnt want a heavy cms installed. anyone know of any alternatives? or is there any light cms that supports search function?

I'm thinking of google but it doesnt allow much customization is it? anyone with similar experience pls help

If you're client is prepared to pay some money you could get the Enterprise version of Google Site Search installed.

Pricing starts at $100 per annum for up to 250,000 annual searches and scales up from there.

 

I know it also allows for a fair bit of customisation....
