dreamweaver question

Featured Replies

you know when your designing asite in dreamweaver some start with a table does anybody then use AP DIVS

or should u not use them

thanks

I personally only use Dreamweaver now for the code view, the code highlighting is always helpful for speeding up the coding process.

I should steer clear of tables in your design, it is just not the done thing in modern web development (for tabular data, yes, for everything else, nope!!), you can stay in design view and throw AP divs around, that is how most people starting out feel comfortable. But it does not always give you a great view of how your site will look in a live browser (even though it has been slightly improved in CS4), I would try to get into using the code view, with a browser window open and refresh that as you progress..sorry if im dragging you kicking and screaming here!! Hop on Google and search for countless tutorials on hand-coding XHTML/CSS, it will pay dividends on future projects.
