September 27, 200916 yr I would like to display the current time and local weather on a site I am building but in very simple text form that will sit in a div. So just something like Party Cloudy 19o 13.44 I have foud loads of weather widgets but they all insist on being graphically, which woul dbe okay if it were asimple one that ran on the same line Thanks in advance
September 28, 200916 yr Hi Simmonsdj Just came across your post and noticed no-one had replied yet. Thought I'd take the time to try and help you out I've recently been working on a couple of weather sites, and after spending a bit of time looking over a few sites, we found wUnderground provided a really wide range of data in XML format. I can't take credit for the API that's been written to parse the XML (nice work, Tom), but it works really well and you can display the output any way you like. An example of what we achieved can be seen here (the site is still not complete, but you'll get the idea). Obviously if you only want the text and not the icons... don't display them! Please vote this post up if it helped you. BenTheDesigner
October 5, 200916 yr Hi Ben, I really like the 5 day weather view. I would like to do the same but only show weather warring and across the whole of the UK. I can see how you do this, do you use an RSS reader? I cant see any links to a API! Cheers
