September 19, 200917 yr Sorry for more questions!: I have a fixed width, centred website (using margin:auto) which is all wrapped in a div. When I flick to my 'contact us' page the whole div moves to the left by about 5px, but this only happens in Firefox! I presume from this that it's a bug rather than anything I have done wrong. I have narrowed it down to the radio buttons in my form as when they are removed it doesn't happen. I dont think there is anything unusual about them because I pretty much copied the code from the w3schools site. Can anyone help on this? Thanks

September 19, 200917 yr If you don't like the sideways movement between a page that doesn't need a vertical scrollbar and one that does, there are several methods to create a scrollbar in all cases:- Add to the stylesheet:- html { overflow-y: scroll; } which adds a dummy scrollbar, not a normal one, in Firefox, Safari and Opera (IE already shows a dummy). OR html, body { height: 100%; margin: 0; padding: 0; } #page-container { height: 101%; } which creates a normal scrollbar with a small amount of movement possible in the scrollbar. There are other methods. Edited January 28, 201016 yr by Sam G added [code] tags
