21% Majority is bloody good form for a election where less than half the electorate voted.

Mark my words, Next General Election will be a Landslide Conservative Majority.

Mark my words, next general election Cameron will be stepping down I hope anyway. They didn't really pull the result out of the bag did they, in fact they lost voters and Labour didn't do as badly as expected.

Cameron in my opinion is starting to wobble and 1 year might be enough for people to understand Browns leadership style which is all substance an no style compared to Camerons style and no substance.

Yeah, I'll give you that, they didn't pull anything out of the bag, but even Brown said the result was disappointing, and the fact they got 7,000 more votes and a 21 point majority shows to me that everyone wants change. Yeah admittedly they did loose votes, but, as long as they get the seat, does it matter to them? The main point is they won a safe labour seat.

 

With regard to brown, I disagree, strongly.

But you know what I think anyway.

 

Cameron may or may not be the best character/role model to be prime minister, that's a matter of personal opinion, but, labour have lost track, they're totally useless. The cabinet is comprised of those solely who haven't bailed ship yet and to be honest, let's admit it, we all know Mandy is really the one in control. After 12 years of a socialist concerned party who have buggered us left right and centre I believe we need a capitalist party to take us forward, which is what we need a cash concerned government. I'm in favour of the public spending cuts, because labour are spending money we don't have and can't afford.

 

The fact they won the EU, Local/Regional Elections beating labour into third place in all shows that the General Public are in favour. The majority of them anyway. If that performance is repeated at the next election I can guarantee the Tories will be safe.

 

12 Months is an incredibly long time in politics, but the scars he's left on the nation won't be forgotten quickly or easily, Andy, I'm sure you're fully aware of the animosity that surrounds Thatcher, it'll be the same for Brown, around for a while.

 

But hey, that's just my 2p.

To be totally honest I have no idea what people have against Brown and I think they have done a really good job. Honestly, I don't see where you are coming from.

 

All I see is the media rooting for the Tories, and talking about how weak Brown is and I don't get it at all.

 

Measures he and his government have taken during this recession are having an effect and things don't feel as bad now as we were all worried they might have been.

 

With regard to the Euro and Council elections, the Tories did beat Labour but it was hardly a landslide. Most of the Labour voters went to the fringe, and I am sure over the 12 months they will swing back over to Labour and they will win.

I cannot believe Cameron thinks we are stupid enough to fall for him swearing so he sounds down with the kids. This guy is a bloody joke! All image no substance yet again.

I don't think he was attempting to be down with the kids, the footage I've saw to me appealed as if he was just in a casual informal environment and he did seem to show general hatred towards twitter.
