Hi all,

Im new to javascript and recently been looking at some javascript navigation examples.

I came across a site that has a nice highlighted scrolling effect.

It didnt go into how it was made, but I tried it out.

My problem is that when it was on a server it slowed down and lagged quite a bit.

Can someone tell me if that is normal?

It seems to be slower, the more content on the page.

very nice... no more lavalamp plugin for me! i can't see why it should be having any problems - perhaps it's where or how you are loading it in your pages. do you have a link to where you're using it?

Very nice. Seen that kind of effect in a Flash tutorial but I hadn't got round to trying it. This seems to do the job just as well.
