What are the pitfulls of buying say a (cheaper) American version of Photoshop CS4 over a more expensive a UK version.

 

Also, how many of you have taken up the massive saving Adobe's student discounts offer by registering the software under your children's names?

There are literally no disadvantages to using an American version, but be sure to do a rigerous check over the terms and conditions of licensing, even if you spend $500 on an American version you may still be breaking the law by owning an American license in the United Kingdom.

 

The latter is fraud and shouldn't be done.
