Hi there,

I like the look of it, its simple and nicely laid out, the only things I would suggest is to pay a bit more attention to your header the wpheroes looks a bit jagged, and the solid black is a little uninteresting maybe just a highlight behind it, like the one on the logo of net tuts etc, just something subtle to lift it.

The only other thing I would say is to lose the borders round your "most viewed" and "top rated"

apart from that i like it a lot, its the sort of blog that I would stay on and have a good look around for interesting bits n bobs.

I think that the layout and colours are great. It is evry stylish and clean and you have used some great icons. (Realy like the RSS one) The only bad thing i will say is that the navigation at the top is not very clear. The images seem a bit blurry.

I love the look - very neat, clean and inviting. The only problem I have with the site is that when I clicked on the title of one of the articles to view the article, instead of going to a page where I could read the article, I was taken to a single page with the article's title where there was a message to click on the title of the article to view the article.

Yeh thats how the i want the site to work! i know it would be better if it had all the content itself, but the site is a bookmarking site for all the wordpress content around the web. And so it just links to the content.

Thanks for your input. As the site grows I hope to add better features, which would include articles/tutorials written by wpheroes.com

My kind of website, nice and simple.

However, because you've used JPG for some of the images, you can see some artifacts around the writing, particularly on this one:

Thanks for spotting that! Suppose im too busy to spot the finer details! Thanks again.

You're welcome, make sure you're not too blasé about stuff like that, your site is going to be used by designers like myself, so things like that are a deterrant.

Neat. Bland.

Hi richard thanks for the critisism. I agree with you that the site has a bland feel to it.

I suppose i was a bit conservative with colour, and chickened out!

I might try livining the whole thing up with a logo redesign???

Very spacious, open, inviting, clean.

Unfortuntely for me, your name WP Heroes, I conjured a brilliant 'hero' theme. Instead, the word and it's meaning are lost.

Thanks, very true in a sense, the meaning for the word, is due to the way the site works.

wpheroes.com takes the worlds best wordpress tutorials/articles/news from other sites,

(who are the wordpress heroes) and displays these "heroes" work.

However i feel you are completly correct. It was the first site i have designed myself, and I was on the cautious side!!!!!

Thanks for the feedback.
