Recommended domain brokerage firm

Featured Replies

Hi I have someone interested in buying a domain name from me.

Where is the best place to sell it. I need a decent domain brokerage firm?

Any tips , cautions would be very handy, never done this before.

Be very careful.

Use someone like Sedo to broker it - they charge a commission but at least it's safer that way.

Hi looked at sedo but dont seem to meet their requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

* Owner must review and agree to exclusive brokerage terms and submit any previous correspondence and proposals to Sedo.

* Your domain is a generic term, product related or descriptive with fewer than three words. Misspellings and typos are not accepted.

* Domain should receive at least 2,500 unique visitors per month. Owner must submit three months of traffic logs and revenue statements.

That's crazy!

Most of the domains we have for sale on Sedo don't even get 10 hits per week.

Are you sure that's not their conditions for selling a website not a domain?

Have you been able to sell a domain with them even though your not meeting the demand for 2,500 unique visitors per month.

Yeah - we've sold about 20 over the last year.
