need to redesign

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I am seo professional. My website is not very seo friendly. I need to redesign my website with more content, less graphics, header tags etc. Can any one suggest me the way of making good UI with seo techniques. Many seo friendly websites do not have good UI and full of content only..

what to do?

Regards

One thing I've noticed about your website is the over-use of classes, you could've saved time by nesting to create your website, you are using nesting, but not successfully manipulating the fact that you can format stuff differently in each one. One more thing, you're using class="" for items on your site that are only used once, for these you should be using id="", because classes are used for items on a page that are used multiple times only, and shouldn't be used for any other purpose. This isn't to say you shouldn't use a class if it only appears one on one page, but multiple times on another, that's fine.

Many SEO experts don't concentrate on aesthetics when it comes to a website, and only concentrate on the search engine optimisation aspect (like you said), but that doesn't mean you have to do, I'm not sure what the disadvantages of creating an aesthetically pleasing are, so long as you have semantic markup and content.

Thanks Traxor. Really Helpful for me. I did'nt get this problem.

I think your site looks pretty nice to the human eye at the moment.

I'd consider if you want to rank high in search engine results, or present a high quality portfolio. You have a lot of duplicated menu items for what I imagine are your SEO terms, and not much body text... balancing this and maybe adding some form of content in that space might help?

You could also consider having expandable divs that the user can open. In this way you can include more content and keep a tight 'n' tidy aesthetic.
