April 23, 200917 yr hi, been building a website for a client. Looks great (just how it looks in DW CS4) in FF, GC & S. But in IE it strips the main text to a bigger font and takes away the bold of the headers making the text come out of its box. Making it look pants. URL: http://hyland.moojuicedesigns.com If you could please help that would be great. many thanks Perry
April 24, 200917 yr Hi, I liked the design and the layout of the site, however it doesn't seem to appear correct in IE8 or Safari. You should perhaps think about using tableless techniques to create your design layout rather than mixing divs and tables. By setting widths of the divs and then floating them left or right, you can achieve the look you intend much more gracefully. I can't quite see where you set the font size of font weight for the headers? Perhaps try using the <h1> or <h2> and overriding them with your own values rather than using a custom <header> tag. If you need more help with this then let me know. If you set the default font size in the body tag then this will be using in the paragraph of your main text providing it you do not override it within a new tag. Hope some of this helps. Rich.
April 24, 200917 yr Author Hey Rich , Thank you for the advice . I've never learnt the float technique so i would have to try and find a tutorial somewhere I'm pretty new to web design and love learning something new. Thanks again. Perry
