Standard "the more you recruit the more AWESOME YOUR DUDE BECOMES" game. Very good for getting a lot of users fast.

thats the exact idea. But at least this one has some animation, compared to alot of the big ones like kings of chaos, which are text only.

I used to love kings of chaos :D

I made my own PHP game called "xentash"... It was the first time I had used a SSL, I took tutorials to build it, and learned php as I went along :D Got about 400 users in a few months. I shut it down when I realized how horrible some of the glitches were such as buying -50000000000 worker units, getting the money back for that, and then spending that all on offensive units. Hehe. I was going to remake it but the market is pretty full already.

Good on you for giving it a go, i would consider playing it.

I was going to try and do one for me and my mates. I downloaded a copy of Promisance but for some reason the turns didnt work and i couldnt find anyone who would fix it for under £200, which i didnt want to spend on a bit of a joke for me and my mates.
