umm how do i make a tab with a fixed size?

i want all the tabs (li tags) to be the same size as the background image given by CSS?

Are all the tabs the same size, or do they vary?

 

You could use the sliding doors technique, or just assign an id/class to each tab.

 

i.e

 

<li id="tab-one">My tab</li>

 

li#tab-one{width: 250px}

all of them same size

i have set the height and width properties but they are still small...
