Yeah!

It works only on wifi atm. but with the new software 3.0 thats coming in the summer

it will be able to work on a 3g network!

And if i'm right in holland the 3g supports skype, there is only a skype update needed that i'm waiting on!

I was trying to find the release date for 3.0 today, looks like a lot of people are expecting it at the end of April! Not sure I believe it tho...

Ultimately iPhone skype is pretty useless at the moment as it's not practical to leave the app running all day. I'll probably only use it for sending and receiving IM's until 3.0 arrives.

hehe, it's beeen on the psp for years, well behind the times.... although the psp still doesn't have a mic :'/ ..useful

If your call skype to skype on 3g is it free?

At the moment you can only make calls when connected to wifi. I think I read that that will change in 3.0.. but I'm not sure.
