Worked for me though

 

1: LARGE banner. Yes, far too large.

2: Bit too bright at the top

3: TITLE! No, it says nothing. (I'm guessing Home or First Page or something along those lines?)

4: The fonts.. got to rethink those fonts..

5: When I click a link at the top, the clickable area shows up like this faint dotted line, right? Well; it looks weird. It's off to the left.

6: Sometimes not high enough contrast on the text in the flashbanner

7: You should go for a lower contrast between text and background in general. It may sound weird, but it actually makes it easier to read.

 

(8: The fish have now eaten pie, and are going to settle down in a nice yellow house, that has a pink river running through it)

I think these sites are too simple, create a better menu, use cubes in the background or something. The second site better, than the first, but you can add some background, it's too empty right now.
